At what age did you start acting?
MM: I started acting a little over 2 years ago as a Junior in high school. I just decided to try it out, and it was just too much fun to stop. Hard work, and persistence got me to this point in my career and I don’t intend on slowing down any time soon.

Do you like to play videos games, if so what’s your favorite video game?
MM: Yeah man! Huge gamer. However, I am a bit cliche. ‘The Last of Us’ is the single greatest game I have ever played. I’m a HUGE fan of Troy Baker too (voice of Joel, in ‘The Last of Us’, so literally everything about the game is perfect….11/10 would recommend.

Who’s your favorite sports team?
MM: Have go with my love for the Boston Celtics. I grew up in Newton, MA, just outside of Boston and frequently went to games all through the years I lived there.

Where’s your favorite place to travel to?
MM: I am a British citizen, thanks to my Dad being 100% Scottish, so Edinburgh, Scotland is always going to be a favorite of mine. Also 11/10 would recommend. But play ‘The Last of Us’ first…you’ll appreciate everything you do in life a little more after it. But yes, Edinburgh, Scotland.

What’s your favorite t.v show to watch?
MM: Archer. Not sure I’ve ever loved a show more than I love Archer.

What’s your favorite project that you’ve done?
MM: I loved working on my first feature, “Just Say Goodbye.” I gained a film-family working on that project. They gave me my start in film by taking a chance on me and I am eternally grateful for them.

What do you do on your free time?
MM: Work! I’m always trying to figure out the next thing in my career at all times. Most of the day work occupies my mind. Although it can stress me out, I secretly love it.

My Interview With Ashley Brooke

At what age did you start acting?
AB: I started acting when I was two years old performing in biannual school plays and summer theater camp at the Sundance School in North Plainfield NJ. The school had such a nurturing and creative environment. That is where I first developed a love acting, singing and dancing. I started acting professionally at age six.

What helps you get pumped before you perform?
AB: In the Sound Of Music National Tour (which I just completed a 10 month run), I generally did exercises with a few friends from the cast and crew before the start of each show! We did stretches and lots of squats. It helped me to energize my body for the upcoming show and focus my mind on what was to come.

What’s your favorite broadway show to see?
AB: My favorite Broadway Show is Doctor Zhivago. I was the understudy for the five children’s roles in the original Broadway production. I loved the beautiful songs, the amazingly detailed sets and costumes, the interesting, tangled love story that took place during the Russian revolution as well as the wonderful castmates and production team that I worked with.  I also really enjoyed Hamilton. I saw it with the original Broadway cast. That was such a treat because it was so unique, the actors were so extraordinarily talented and I love singing the songs.

What’s your favorite song to listen to?
AB: I love so many songs that it’s hard to pick a single favorite. I especially like listening to Ariana Grande. I also enjoy the song ”Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story” from Hamilton because I love the build up and the message of the song.

What’s your favorite project that you’ve done?
AB: I would have to say playing Louisa in the Sound of Music National Tour, because I not only got to see the country while doing what I love, but I got to do it with an amazing cast and crew that I now consider family.

What do you do on your free time?
AB: I love to make videos of me and my friends. I usually use iMovie, Videostar and Musical.ly to edit and create all different types of videos (on musical.ly, I am AshleyBrooke101).

Magcon Tour Dream

I’ve been a fan of Magcon since the first tour in 2014. Magcon means a lot to me in many ways. Social media, laughter, fun, and all the energy of the event. Magcon features a lot of talent such as Cameron Dallas, Aaron Carpenter, Blake Gray and many others. Magcon is not just one event, it’s a tour that visits many cities around the world and attracts fans from all over. I’ve always wanted to go and join in on all the fun, but have never had the chance to. I am really hoping I can be a part of the event, not just as a fan but as a blogger and creator. My dream is to meet all of those amazing talents, but especially Cameron Dallas. I follow them on all their social media and try to never miss anything they post. Please help me get to Magcon by retweeting and reposting on IG and Twitter. Thanks!
